Sad as it was, we had to say farewell to our hosts Wil and Christiaan this morning. We had our last delicious breakfast and fabulous coffee at Katine and then Martin our lifelong friend and my surrogate brother, now relocated in St Ives, Sydney, Australia came to collect us. Wow – it was good to see him and Gail in their new environment. After dropping off our luggage at their home we went to West Head and took in the view before making our way to Palm beach where we had a delicious swim in the Pacific Ocean.
In the evening Martin and Gail took us to their favourite Indian restaurant in St Ives – Road to Goa where we shared several delicious dishes. The food was great but the bonding with our friends was the best! We miss you guys!
I can see why Martin and Earl loved Palm Beach… I would love it too….
